Finally, ‘Voids’ comes in at number four to wrap things up with its ironic title, as it's the one with the highest number of sounds in it. The tune, however, was initially even more sounds-rich so the title really comes from what my deep removals ended up leaving - a straight up, two-step piece, one solid single run from start to finish, no breakdowns, just basic and effective drum & bass fundamentals - as pretty much the rest of the EP.

Italy.

This album is an enjoyable paradox, caught not just between jungle and halftime, but rather, both extremes concurrently. I'm not sure whether to slide these tunes into a hip-hop set, or break it down from a d'n'b set. This unsure feeling of speed subversion and beat delusion... I love it.
